Dumplings are a convenient and tasty way to enjoy a variety of different flavors. They can be boiled, steamed, or fried, and the dough can be made from wheat flour, rice flour, cornstarch, or even potato starch. The most popular dumpling fillings are pork, chicken, beef, and vegetables, but there are also many sweet varieties such as cherry dumplings and apple dumplings.
One of our favorite ways to enjoy dumplings is with a savory filling of pork. So today we are going to show you one of our favorite dumpling recipes that include spicy pork! This is a quick and easy meal that my whole family will love!

Pan Fried Spicy Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground pork
1 cup cabbage
1 small bag of Julienned carrots
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce (optional)
1 teaspoon grated ginger
2 chopped green onions
1 egg
1 package round dumpling wrappers
Vegetable oil
Mikey V's Zing or Sweet Ghost Pepper Sauce for dipping
Instructions:
Step 1: Start By Soften Wrappers:
Remove dumpling wraps from the refrigerator. Let stand at room temperature to soften while proceeding to the next step.
Step 2: Make The Filling
Add oil to the pan and turn to med-high. Add pork to the pan. Cook ground pork until brown. Add cabbage, julienned carrots, soy sauce, Mikey V’s Brok Da Mouth Seasoning, and green onions. Sauté for 3-5 minutes. Let mixture cool in a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: Start Wrapping Dumplings
1 egg in a bowl for egg wash. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of pork filling onto a single wrapper (Note 3). Dip your finger into the egg wash and run it along the round edges of the wrapper to moisten. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch along the edges to seal, using more water if needed. Repeat until pork filling is used up. Use a damp paper towel over assembled dumplings to avoid drying out.
Step 4: Pan Fry Your Dumplings
Heat oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat for a few minutes until hot. Add dumplings to pan in a single layer and cook until browned on the bottom, about 5 minutes. Pour about 2 tablespoons of water over dumplings and cover with a lid until cooked through about 5 minutes. Work in batches if the pan cannot fit all simultaneously.
Step 5: Serve Hot & Fresh!
Uncover and transfer cooked dumplings to serving plates. Combine sauce ingredients in a dip bowl, and serve with dumplings.
